Using Locus
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. Keep your account secure and use Locus only in ways permitted by law. You are responsible for the material you add to your workspace and for the decisions you make from it.
AI output needs judgment
Locus can organize, draft, calculate, search, and reason, but model output can be incomplete or wrong. Review important work before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety, or other high-stakes decisions.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload. You give Locus permission to process that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, such as agent requests and optional sync.
Paid services
Some agent use requires Locus credit. Credit packs are one-time consumable purchases processed by Apple or Google. Purchased credits can be used only for services in the Locus account that received them. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and do not expire. They are not a bank balance, stored-value account, or general-purpose virtual currency.
The store shows the localized purchase price before confirmation. Locus shows estimated agent-run costs, but the final credit used depends on actual model usage. Apple or Google’s applicable store terms and refund rules govern payment and refunds. When a store refund is confirmed, Locus removes the original fixed credit grant; this can leave a negative credit balance and pause further paid use. Apple may reverse a refund and restore the grant.
Service changes
Features, model availability, prices for future purchases, and limits may change as the product develops. Changes do not reduce credit already purchased. We may suspend access when needed to protect users or the service, enforce these terms, or comply with law.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Locus is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
